SEED SPITTERS BASEBALL

We are a Christian based baseball organization created in September of 2023  whose goals are to build a strong foundation of faith while teaching the game of baseball. By sharing Bible passages, praying before games, and discussing how their faith connects to baseball and life in general, players and coaches frequently communicate their beliefs. One of the verses we use often when starting a season is Proverbs 27:17.

Proverbs 27:17 states, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another," a verse often applied to baseball to emphasize the importance of teamwork and mutual growth. In a baseball context, this means players and coaches push each other to improve through encouragement, accountability, and constructive challenges, creating a stronger and more refined team. This concept also fosters mentorship, where experienced players guide younger ones, and highlights the value of relationships where mutual growth is the ultimate goal.

Secondly, we are also highly focused on skill development through consistent practice of fundamentals, fostering a growth mindset by embracing challenges, learning from mistakes to help build confidence, develop valuable life skills, and sustain their passion for the game as they advance in skill and competition levels.
